
Boxing Cat - Defeating Ordinary
In China, craft beer is still in its infancy. The easiest way to help people understand craft beer is by working with their current perception — that craft beer is NOT quite "normal" beer. With this in mind, we created a point-of-view that ordinary beer was slowly making everyone boring. The hero that’s going to save us from this epidemic is the very one found on our labels.

The campaign started by revamping the logo.
R/GA Shanghai approached the project holistically, creating the hero character Louie from the scratch.
Then we created the all-new brand system with a new tagline of “Live With A Punch”.

We created high-impact applications across labels, packaging, point-of-sale, and promo materials, transforming and unifying Boxing Cat’s range of existing products.
The market share went up from 5% to 28% in just four months.
